The New Look

Guess it was time...to change! :)

And they say it's a male dominated society!

Why’s it that a woman can go to any pub in this city all alone, but a man has to have a female companion to do the same?
Why’s it that a woman will be allowed (read preferred) to enter a pub in minimal clothing, but a man in shorts cannot?

This country talks about raising the status of women, but aren’t they already enjoying a hell lot of privileges to ask for more? (can’t resist mentioning the separate queues at the bill payment counters and how easy it is to get things done “her” way in any office!)

Nothing against the women and all the feminist views in this regard are absolutely uncalled for; just wondering if the “rules & regulations” of the pubs in this city will ever allow an Adam to not need an Eve to enjoy a drink in the evening, with the liberty of wearing what he wants to!(Oh, did I say Adam 'n' Eve?) ;-)

Wake Up Dead!

No ring on the phone…no message either!
No ping on the messengers…no mail either!
I’m too groggy…last night I had a few breezers!
The place was good…it was called T'zers!

Searching for someone who’s as bored as me
Sick 'n' tired of just their own company
I take a look around...
But there’s no such someone to be found!

I don’t wanna work…today is just not the day
I want someone to treat me…so I won’t have to pay
Or take me back home…where my bed awaits me
Where I can sleep for hours and no one will try to wake me.

But none of this is happening…
I hate this desperation
To end this desolation
In temptation of a recreation…rejuvenation…salvation!

Release Me!

Questions… can’t escape from them!
Expectations… can never live up to them!
Promises… why do people break them?
Feelings… why do people fake them?
Happiness… is just a phase!
Sadness… is another!
