Why is it that the things which so naturally seem to be ours will be the hardest to have? So much so that we might never actually have them...

so, what's here and now cherish it to the fullest and keep aspriring for the rest.. but remember that it is never the less a vscious circle of human wants.

ankur! good to see you back on the blogging scene after so long..
but its sad to see you writing something hopeless like this
its just doesn't read like u..

i know how much it hurts to see something, you rightfully feel you deserve, slipping by..but that's life to you

and to add a pinch of drama to it, i quote Om from OSO
"picture abhi baki hai mere dost" :D
so cheer up
tc :)

oh that is so true...naturally mine...i suppose that is why i have the innate determination to make it so...there is no trying, only doing (gotta love yoda)!

Maybe because they're not ours we don't take them for granted.

why do we feel a need to possess things/people/anything? most things are fleeting. can we ever really possess anything we love?

@skeeter: wasn't sad, but somewhat disappointed. but it's ok now. :)
-----------------------------------
@aditi: i'm a human and it's my "want", so it's me! it's just that for some things, you so naturally feel that they are meant to be for you, and that's why you so want them...
-----------------------------------
@umang: haha, good one! :D
-----------------------------------
@di: there are some things you don't have a control over, even if you try your hardest to get 'em!
yoda?
-----------------------------------
@anil: perhaps perhaps perhaps! "taking for granted" part was kinda inappropriate in this context.
-----------------------------------
@anonymous: well we surely can "have" something/someone we love, but never "own" them!
a lot of things are fleeting, but a lot others are to stay!

yoda?"

True. But your attitude/orientation to the matter make a huge difference. In matters of love and other aspects of life you have to see what's given to you which sometimes we have no control of that. Influence, yes. Though, you have to know when to let go and stop wanting it to be yours. If it's not given to you then perhaps it's just not meant to be for you despite how much you thought you knew yourself, 'what was yours'...
Kind of makes for a good adventure in life to come across, to see, that which IS given to you :)

well ok...i buy that! :)
i asked you what's "yoda"?

sometimes we are mistaken to believe few things to be ours ....
may be they are virtual... or short termed...
so enjoy every moment till it is there !!
u will love it!
